I can tell you why I do what I do. My entire purpose is to provide choral opportunities to people in the community to both participate and attend choral music because of its great physical, psychological, spiritual, social and musical benefits.
Singing in a disciplined full-harmony group strengthens the entire core of the body in low-impact but very significant ways. In fact, research tells us that choral singing may be one of the most broadly beneficial of any activity, especially for retirees and older folks.
Voices of Aloha seeks to provide a safe, welcoming, supportive environment for people who, perhaps have never had the opportunity to experience the exhilarating joy of singing full-voiced in a large choir. It is like nothing else.
