Calling all singers and interested supporters. We are opening up our summer seminars on July 11th, 2017 for a 3-week program of Musical Note Reading and Singing. If you are interested in attending, there is a nominal fee of $50.00 ($40.00 for choir members.) Classes are from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. New singers are especially welcome, but we’ll take regular singers, too.
The sessions will take place at Community of Christ Church in Makiki, 1666 Mott Smith Drive. Please fill in the contact form below to sign up, or call our Music Director, Mark Yasuhara.
Mahalo and hope to meet you there.
Aloha and Happy New Year.
It’s time for a new season of making great music together. We are inviting singers to join us for a 5-month journey of learning great music, creating valuable new relationship with others and sharing our music with others. If you love to sing, please join us.
We meet every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 9pm at the Makiki Community of Christ Church at 1666 Mott Smith Dr. There is a small membership fee for participation and we promise that you will enjoy yourself. All we ask is that you learn the music in a timely fashion and get along with all of us.
For more information, please contact our Music Director Mark Yasuhara at 808-228-5068.
We look forwarding to meeting you.

Good news: Leilani Motet is our new accompanist. You’ll remember that she subbed for Tom at a couple of performances last season. We’re thrilled.
More good news: We have been booked for a performance in the lobby of the State Library, Thursday, December 1 at 6:30 pm!
We now have three definite performance dates for this season including the annual Thanksgiving Choir Festival, Sunday, November 13 at 5:00 pm and our big Christmas Concert either Saturday or Sunday, December 10 or 11 at McKinley High School Auditorium.

All right. We’re halfway through the summer and we can’t wait to start our new winter season of singing. Wonderful Christmas carols and medleys to delight any listener. Our first meeting is open to anyone who wants to join us and sing. There is NO AUDITION. And there’s food. Check elsewhere for our meeting place and time. Aloha.
We barely have six weeks to go before our concert on June 4th, and we are nearly “sold out.” The tickets are FREE and they will be required at the door. So, if you haven’t already booked your seats, then please rush over to our ticket site at http://voicesofaloha.eventbrite.com.
And again, if you can’t make the performance, we would love for you to pre-order your concert DVD for $15.00 right at http://voicesofaloha.eventbrite.com.
Either way, we’re happy to share our information there. See you at McKinley!
Good news. We finally have our tickets available on line for everyone. Please head over to Eventbrite.com and search in the Community Events.
Or click here to be taken directly to our kiosk. You may order as many as 20 tickets at a time in one visit. You may return there to cancel tickets, too. This is really important to us because we are expecting a sell-out crowd, so we’re keeping close count of our tickets.
As an added convenience, you may wish to pre-pay for your DVD of our concert event. You will receive your DVD in the mail within 30 days. Click here to start now.

Voices of Aloha members came together at the Foster Botanical Garden for their Spring Concert photo shoot. And WOW. So fun to use spring hats and parasols for a “new” look as they adorned our bright concert red muu’s and shirts. And it was even more playful to enjoy climbing over rocks to set up the perfect photo pose. Well, you know how it is when you’re looking for that special look. Positioning, lighting, and everything else has to be just so. And it was 🙂
Foster Botanical Garden was the perfect site for our enjoyment, and we know the pictures are going to be special.
Big mahalo to the staff at the gardens. We love your place!
And big mahalo to Derrek Mirahira for a fabulous photo. WOW.
Today we are standing up our blog, maybe a website in the near future. If you have found us, it’s a miracle and thanks for looking!
We would love to have your wonderful comments telling us where and when you first heard of us. We just started our non-profit status a few months ago, so guess what? You can really help us to build our group’s visibility.
First, tell people that you found our blog and that you actually left a comment.
Next, please oh please have somebody call us for performances. That’s what we love to do and we currently have a lot of openings on our calendar.
So, I’m gonna get going now. Hope you’ll send us your greeting and aloha.
We think you’re pretty cool already 🙂
